Stamperly is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our digital loyalty card platform — whether you are a business owner or an end customer.

2. Information We Collect

For Business Owners

  • Account details: name, email, password
  • Business information: business name, phone, email, logo
  • Payment information (processed securely through Lemon Squeezy — we do not store card details)

For Customers (End Users)

  • Name and email address (provided during loyalty card signup)
  • Phone number and birthday (optional, if collected by the business)
  • Stamp and reward activity

Automatically Collected

  • Device information: IP address, browser type, operating system
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps
  • Location data: only when a customer has added a wallet pass with location-based notifications enabled

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process transactions and manage subscriptions
  • Send wallet pass notifications (stamps, rewards, promotions)
  • Send email notifications (new customers, weekly reports, birthday reminders)
  • Analyze usage to improve our product
  • Respond to support inquiries
  • Meet legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service providers: Supabase (hosting/database), Vercel (web hosting), Resend (email delivery), Lemon Squeezy (payments), Apple and Google (wallet passes)
  • Business owners: Customer data (name, email, stamps, rewards) is visible to the business that operates the loyalty card
  • Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted database connections, row-level security policies, and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: Data is retained as long as the account is active
  • Cancelled subscriptions: Business data is retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted
  • Customer data: Retained as long as the business account that collected it is active

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data
  • Object to processing

Business owners can export customer data and manage their account from the dashboard. End customers can contact the business or email us directly.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

9. Location Data

Stamperly's Notification Zones feature uses location data to trigger wallet notifications when customers are near a configured location. This data is processed by Apple and Google's wallet systems on the customer's device — Stamperly does not track or store real-time location data.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated via email.
